I grew up in a small prairie town here in Alberta. Love brought me to Edmonton - and I have to admit, it’s grown on me. I started my photography journey in front of the camera in 2014 but stepped behind the lens after my first baby was born in 2018, as most of us mommas do.
Being a busy mom of two, I, like many others, have taken those seemingly monotonous tasks for granted. You know which ones I’m talking about. The matching of teeny tiny socks and battling bedtime routine with sleepy babies who have to be convinced to go to sleep. After they’re tucked in the house is quiet, I look around at the piles of laundry and toys on the floor & remember that this is their childhood and I reflect on the day. These are the good old days and I never want to forget them.
